Baseball Recap: Wellsville-Middletown's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Wellsville-Middletown can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past the Missouri Military Academy Fighting Colonels 16-1. Considering the Tigers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Wellsville-Middletown picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-13. As for Missouri Military Academy, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wellsville-Middletown will square off against Wright City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Missouri Military Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Clopton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
