Connersville now has a winning record of 4-3. As for New Castle, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
New Castle was dealt a bruising 68-27 loss at the hands of Connersville when the teams last played back in December of 2023. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point New Castle was down 32-12.
