Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Waubonsie Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Danyella Mporokoso, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Mporokoso has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last five times she's played. Hannah Laub was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Alton's loss dropped their record down to 32-3. As for Waubonsie Valley, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 32-3.
