Volleyball Recap: Concord's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After a string of three wins, Concord's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs.

While Concord ultimately came up short, they really made Franklin Community work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-17.

Claire Campanello paced Concord's offense, picking up eight kills. Campanello really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Franklin Community, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord will challenge Plymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Franklin Community, they will take on Franklin Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
