Baseball Recap: Vista del Lago Comes Up Short

Hillcrest hit Vista del Lago with a seven-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Ravens came up short against the Trojans, falling 11-0. The Ravens haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Vista del Lago saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Kosonoy, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Vista del Lago's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Hillcrest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7-1.
