Basketball Recap: Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Gets the Win

After losing to Towner-Granville-Upham the last time they met, Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks escaped with a win on Saturday against the Towner-Granville-Upham Titans by the margin of a single free throw, 63-62. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mavericks.

Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Towner-Granville-Upham, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.

Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood will welcome Glenburn at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Towner-Granville-Upham, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Surrey at 7:15 p.m. on January 21st.
