Cigarroa posted their closest victory since September 14, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Edinburg North Cougars, sneaking past 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Toros sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cigarroa's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Edinburg North, they moved to 4-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Cigarroa is taking a road trip to take on Palmview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Toros' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Edinburg North, they will face off against Harvest Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
