Soccer Game Preview: Omaha South vs. Papillion-LaVista

Omaha South hasn't had much luck against Papillion-LaVista recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Packers will host the Monarchs at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Omaha South and Omaha Central meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Packers came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Papillion-LaVista kept a clean sheet against Papillion-LaVista South on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Titans 1-0. Papillion-LaVista haven't had any issues with Papillion-LaVista South recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Omaha South's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Papillion-LaVista, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
