Volleyball Recap: Firelands Gets the Win

Firelands's tournament run continued when they took on Danbury on Saturday. The Falcons came out on top against the Lakers by a score of 2-0.

Josie Kirby paced Firelands' offense, picking up ten kills. Kirby got some help from Lexi Schrader and her nine assists. Kirby also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Everliegh Robinson, racking up three apiece.

Firelands' record is now 3-4. As for Danbury, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Firelands didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Wellington on the 2nd. As for Danbury, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Hopewell-Loudon on the 2nd.
