Basketball Recap: Sturgeon Bay Takes a Loss

Sturgeon Bay lost against Kohler back in December of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sturgeon Bay Clippers were dealt an 83-50 defeat at the hands of the Kohler Blue Bombers. While losing is never fun, the Clippers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 394th, while the Blue Bombers are ranked 157th).

Sturgeon Bay has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season. The win (which was Kohler's fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

As of now, neither Sturgeon Bay nor Kohler have any future games scheduled.
