If Cibola was feeling good off their 3-0 takedown of Gila Ridge last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Cibola fell just short of San Luis by a score of 2-1. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cibola in their matchups with San Luis: they've now lost eight in a row.
Cibola bumped their record down to 5-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for San Luis, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0-1.
Cibola will be playing at home against San Luis at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Luis, they will head out on the road to challenge Gila Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gila Ridge has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5.
