Hamilton Southeastern put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 44-29 win over the Evansville North Huskies. The 44-point effort marked the Royals' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Hamilton Southeastern's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maya Makalusky led the charge by going 7 for 10 on her way to 16 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Holman, who posted nine points in addition to six assists and five steals.

Evansville North's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddy Knies, who put up four points and six boards. Libby Blythe was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Hamilton Southeastern pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Evansville North, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Hamilton Southeastern will face off against Pendleton Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Kaycie Warfel and Makalusky. As for Evansville North, they will take on Evansville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evansville Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.2 points per game this season.
