16 must be Raceland's lucky number: they beat Russell County with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Rams beat the Lakers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 16-1. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 14 matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Raceland is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season. As for Russell County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-16-1.

As of now, neither Raceland nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
