The Forestview Jaguars will venture away from home to take on the North Gaston Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forestview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Two weeks ago, Forestview came up short against Stuart W. Cramer and fell 8-5.

Lily Cabe made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, North Gaston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Crest, falling 16-1.

North Gaston saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Carpenter, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Forestview has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for North Gaston, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Forestview beat North Gaston 4-1 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
