Pleasant Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Foothill a 5-0 shutout on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Vikings needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, Red Bluff hadn't done well against Shasta recently (they were 0-8-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Red Bluff beat Shasta by a goal, winning 3-2. The Spartans better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Isaiah Casas, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Red Bluff's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those seven games. As for Pleasant Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-1-4 record this season.

Pleasant Valley beat Red Bluff by a goal in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 1-0. Will Pleasant Valley repeat their success, or does Red Bluff have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
