Baseball Recap: Eaglecrest Takes a Loss

Eaglecrest lost to Cherry Creek on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Raptors took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bruins. The Raptors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eaglecrest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Sutton, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Eaglecrest's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Cherry Creek, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Eaglecrest will square off against Denver North at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cherry Creek, they will face off against Cherokee Trail at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
