The Black Knights came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Black Knights in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Chuckey-Doak's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Pigeon Forge, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11-2 record this season.

Chuckey-Doak has already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against West Greene on the 10th. As for Pigeon Forge, they will challenge Sweetwater on Wednesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
