Volleyball Recap: Vinemont Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Vinemont took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mt. Bethel Christian Academy. Vinemont has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cailey Leister out in front who had 13 digs and one assist. The team also got some help courtesy of Bree Benich, who had 12 digs.

Vinemont's loss dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 18-17.

Looking ahead, Vinemont will face off against Cold Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hayden on the 20th.
