Softball Recap: Meridian Falls Short Against Ranked Rocky Mountain

Meridian faced Rocky Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors lost 10-4 to the Grizzlies. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Grizzlies: they've now lost nine in a row.

Maggie Diffin was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Meridian's record now sits at 11-10. As for Rocky Mountain, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-11.

As of now, neither Meridian nor the Grizzlies have any future games scheduled.
