It was a good run, but Hamtramck unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. The match between them and the Osborn Knights didn't end well, with the Hamtramck Cosmos falling 47-30. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cosmos of the 39-29 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Hamtramck's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3. As for Osborn, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Hamtramck will welcome American International Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamtramck is facing American International Academy at the right time seeing as American International Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Osborn, they will challenge Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Osborn's defense has only allowed 18.6 points per game this season, so Northwestern's offense will have their work cut out for them.
