Wilmington waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Seneca Fighting Irish by a score of 2-0. The Wildcats were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Fighting Irish, so the Wildcats were just returning the favor.

Wilmington not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Seneca to exactly 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18.

Wilmington's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Seneca, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Wilmington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Marian Catholic on the 30th. As for Seneca, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Oak Forest on the 30th.
