Football Game Preview: Hall Titans vs. Platt Panthers + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Tommy Hussey and Austen Standish are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Hall Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the Platt Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hall will be strutting in after a win while Platt will be coming in after a loss.

Hall took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Manchester by a score of 37-30. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Platt played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 49-14 defeat at the hands of New Britain. The Panthers were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

With the victory, Hall broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. As for Platt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Hall skirted past Platt 24-21 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
