Basketball Recap: Southern California Academy Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Southern California Academy Rams came up short against the Riviera Prep Bulldogs and fell 68-57. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riviera Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mason Fuentes out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 assists. What's more, Fuentes also racked up five boards, the most he's had since back in January. Myles Fuentes was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine boards.

Southern California Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Riviera Prep, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Southern California Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-46 loss against Dynamic Prep on the 7th. As for Riviera Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-63 win against Norland on the 12th.
