It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Simmons had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Sacred Heart Crusaders with a sharp 82-61 win. The victory was nothing new for the Blue Devils as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Despite the loss, Sacred Heart had strong showings from Raider Williams, who went 12-for-29 en route to 29 points along with seven boards and five assists, and Luke Davey, who went 8-for-10 to rack up 18 points and five rebounds. Williams is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Simmons pushed their record up to 10-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points over those games. As for Sacred Heart, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

Simmons wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-59 victory against Nanih Waiya on the 15th. Sacred Heart does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
