Football Recap: Proviso West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Proviso West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 51-0 defeat at the hands of the Lyons Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 59-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Proviso West's record now sits at 1-5. As for Lyons, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Proviso West will venture away from home to challenge Willowbrook at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lyons, they will head out to square off against Oak Park-River Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
