Softball Game Preview: Harding Skippers vs. Lordstown Red Devils

Harding is 0-3 against Lordstown since April of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Skippers will look to defend their home field against the Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Harding is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They came up short against Chalker, falling 17-1.

Harding saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Beyla Sadler, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Lordstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 25-2 to Grand Valley.

Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lordstown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Harding might still be hurting after the 9-2 defeat they got from Lordstown in their previous matchup back in April of 2023. Can the Skippers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
