Softball Recap: Bishop's Takes a Loss

If Bishop was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of La Jolla Country Day last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights fell 4-1 to the Tri-City Christian Eagles on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Bishop's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for Tri-City Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bishop's will face off against rival Coastal Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tri-City Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Francis Parker at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
