Encinal typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Berkeley proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Jets 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Yellowjackets have posted against the Jets since April 21, 2017.

Akanni Owodunni was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Quinton Hill, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Berkeley's victory bumped their record up to 16-2-1. As for Encinal, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Jets beat Berkeley by a score of 8-4 on Saturday.
