Basketball Recap: Hillsdale Takes a Loss

Hillsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Waynedale Golden Bears and fell 61-21. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 648th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 307th).

Hillsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Waynedale, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsdale has already played their next contest (against Northwestern), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Waynedale will host Norwayne at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Norwayne is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.6 points per game this season.
