Volleyball Recap: Roaring Fork Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Roaring Fork lost against Aspen back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Skiers. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Skiers 25-20 in the first set.

Roaring Fork started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-15.

Nikki Tardif paced Roaring Fork's offense, picking up 13 kills. Tardif got some help from Tesame Hayes and her 15 assists. Hayes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Roaring Fork's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Aspen, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Roaring Fork didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Gunnison on the 3rd. As for Aspen, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Jefferson Academy on the 27th.
