After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Trinity Prep, Piedmont Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won three in a row.

While Piedmont Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mount de Sales Academy scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 26-28, 25-22.

Piedmont Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Piedmont Academy will square off against Stratford Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they will host Crawford County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
