Baseball Recap: Andrew Jackson Takes a Loss

Andrew Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-3 to the Ribault Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-2 back in February.

CJ Logan was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Five bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Kennedy Bussey also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Andrew Jackson's record is now 0-9. As for Ribault, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.

Coming up, Andrew Jackson will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Westside at 4:00 p.m. Westside has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.11 runs per game on average), something Andrew Jackson will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ribault, they will challenge Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
