Softball Recap: Kinston Takes a Loss

Kinston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 on Tuesday.

Kinston's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kinston will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Lenoir at 4:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pender at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
