Football Game Preview: West Wendover Wolverines vs. Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons

The West Wendover Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. West Wendover comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Friday, West Wendover lost to Incline on the road by a 31-14 margin.

Meanwhile, Coral Academy of Science - Reno played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They blew past Yerington 43-8. The Falcons pushed the score to 36-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions had little chance of recovering from.

The win made it two in a row for Coral Academy of Science - Reno and bumps their season record up to 4-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points over those games. As for West Wendover, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

West Wendover was able to grind out a solid win over Coral Academy of Science - Reno in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 33-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
