Bishop Watterson and Westerville South squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bishop Watterson had to settle for second. They came up short against the Westerville South Wildcats, falling 56-34. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Ariyana Cradle, who posted 17 points in addition to seven assists and five rebounds for Westerville South. Cradle's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deziah Dupree, who earned nine points and five boards.

Bishop Watterson's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Westerville South, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 21-5.

Bishop Watterson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westerville South, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-53 defeat against Big Walnut on the 1st.
