Keystone Heights is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over Interlachen. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 11 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Ethan Franklin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tallon Campbell, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Guage Barry was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Trinity Catholic had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past the Panthers 13-3.
Oakley Hayhurst tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Trinity Catholic got a massive performance out of Aidan Elgart, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Elgart has become a key player for the Celtics: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-16 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Brian Rudman, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI and one run.
Trinity Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Keystone Heights' record now sits at 18-7. As for Trinity Catholic, their record is now 10-16.
Trinity Catholic's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Keystone Heights has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .436. It's a different story for Trinity Catholic, though, as they've only averaged .348. Will they be able to contain Keystone Heights' hitters?
