Soccer Game Preview: Sebastian River vs. St. Edward's + How To Watch

The Sebastian River Sharks will head out to take on the St. Edward's Pirates at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Sebastian River's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Sebastian River and Port St. Lucie meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Sharks fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, St. Edward's managed to keep up with Melbourne Central Catholic until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Pirates came up short against the Hustlers, falling 3-0.

Sebastian River's loss dropped their record down to 0-5-2. As for St. Edward's, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything went Sebastian River's way against St. Edward's in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as Sebastian River made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sharks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
