After losing to Southeast the last time they met, Burns decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Broncs secured a 25-20 W over the Cyclones on Saturday. Those 25 points were actually the fewest the Broncs have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Burns' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Myla Medley, who posted four points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Irene Madler, who put up four points.

The win made it two in a row for Burns and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Burns and Powell will compete for holiday cheer at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeast, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mitchell on January 6, 2026.
