Basketball Game Preview: Andes Central/Dakota Christian vs. Kimball/White Lake Wildkats

Andes Central/Dakota Christian is 8-2 against Kimball/White Lake since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Andes Central/Dakota Christian will head out to square off against the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Andes Central/Dakota Christian is headed into Thursday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 65-52 to Centerville, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, Andes Central/Dakota Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Centerville is ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Kimball/White Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 53-30 to Wessington Springs.

Andes Central/Dakota Christian's record is now 14-6. As for Kimball/White Lake, their record is now 6-13.

Andes Central/Dakota Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Kimball/White Lake in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 53-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Andes Central/Dakota Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
