Baseball Recap: Knoxville Takes a Loss

Knoxville fell victim to Indianola and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Indians. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Knoxville's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6. As for Indianola, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knoxville will take on Chariton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Indianola, they will square off against Pella Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
