Volleyball Recap: Atchison Comes Up Short

Atchison lost against Leavenworth back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Phoenix took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the PIONEERS.

Atchison was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Leavenworth work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 26-24.

Atchison dropped their record down to 10-20-3 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Leavenworth, they moved to 9-23 with that win, which also ended their eight-match losing streak.

Coming up, Atchison will square off against Washington on Tuesday. As for Leavenworth, they will take on Northeast in a tournament on Saturday.
