Softball Recap: Mathews Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Mathews entered their tilt with McKinley on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Red Dragons with a sharp 18-6 win.

Mathews' victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for McKinley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-14.

Looking ahead, Mathews will be taking part in a tournament against Central Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Comets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.69 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. McKinley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
