Volleyball Recap: Trinity Oaks Christian Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy lost to Cristo Rey St. Martin back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Huskies walked away with a 2-0 victory over the CRSM. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-6.

Natalie Freeman paced Trinity Oaks Christian Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Freeman got some help from Aubrey Hansen and her 20 assists. Reagan Horstman controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Cristo Rey St. Martin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10-1.

Looking ahead, Trinity Oaks Christian Academy will challenge Hiawatha at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cristo Rey St. Martin, they will square off against Woodlands Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
