Passaic Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Pompton Lakes Cardinals a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Passaic Valley's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Pompton Lakes, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.
