Basketball Game Preview: New Faith Christian Academy Titans vs. Beech Buccaneers

The New Faith Christian Academy Titans and the Beech Buccaneers will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

New Faith Christian Academy came up into this matchup off a tough 23-point defeat on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Northside by a score of 63-60 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Titans have suffered since February 23rd.

Meanwhile, Beech was able to grind out a solid win over Ravenwood on Saturday, taking the game 72-60. Given the Buccaneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Raptors are ranked 244th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

This is the second loss in a row for New Faith Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 10-8. As for Beech, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
