            The Caledonia Warriors will face off against the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Caledonia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3  runs per game  this season.
Caledonia lost a heartbreaker the last time they played La Crescent, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's   match. The Warriors were the clear victors by  a  13-6 margin over the Lancers on Tuesday. Considering the Warriors have won ten contests by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.

Caledonia let  Tyson Ginther and  Reid Klug run wild. Ginther  went 3-for-5 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double, while  Klug  got on base  in all five of his plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base. Those  four  RBI gave  Ginther a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jack Schmitz, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.

The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
