Softball Recap: Waukesha South Blackshirts vs. Arrowhead Warhawks
Waukesha South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 25-5 to the Arrowhead Warhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blackshirts of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Alicyn Kramer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Alyson Staley, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Waukesha South's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Arrowhead, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
Coincidentally, Waukesha South and Arrowhead will both be playing Oconomowoc the next time they take the field. The Blackshirts will head out to face the Raccoons at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Warhawks will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
