 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bountiful had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Wasatch Wasps out  3-1. The  win was familiar territory for Bountiful who now have eight in a row.
  Ella Miller made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 16 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Miller has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 22 consecutive pitching appearances. Miller was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  double.
 Miller wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Athena Tongaonevai, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Bountiful's victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 25-3. As for Wasatch,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-21.
 Bountiful will square off against Salem Hills at 10:30  a.m.  on Tuesday. Bountiful is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7  runs per game  this season. Wasatch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
