The Trabuco Hills Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Dana Hills Dolphins at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Trabuco Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Last Friday, Trabuco Hills earned a 5-1 win over Aliso Niguel. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Sam Crouse looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tyler Hill, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Amedeo Miller also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Meanwhile, Dana Hills got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over Capistrano Valley.

Trabuco Hills' record is now 10-2-1. As for Dana Hills, their record is now 6-8-1.

Everything went Trabuco Hills' way against Dana Hills in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Trabuco Hills made off with an 8-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trabuco Hills since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
