Softball Recap: Eunice Takes a Loss

If Eunice was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of DeRidder last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats lost 19-4 to the Iowa Yellowjackets on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost seven in a row.

Eunice's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 13-6. As for Iowa, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Eunice will challenge Leesville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iowa, they will face off against Holden at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
